Why Aegis Energy is building these sites
Commercial fleets are under growing pressure to decarbonise, but the infrastructure they need is still limited. Reliable public recharging and refuelling is a missing piece in the transition, and new infrastructure is urgently needed so that fleets can keep up with growing requirements to decarbonise.
Aegis Energy is developing sites to help meet that need — supporting operators with practical infrastructure while working closely with customers, local stakeholders and communities as projects move forward. Better rest and welfare facilities at purpose-built sites also mean better-rested, safer drivers — a benefit for everyone on the road. With truck stop capacity at a critical level, bringing trucks off laybys and public roads and into proper facilities also helps to improve the spaces communities share.
